In April 2026, I went on a 19-day journey across Kyrgyzstan from south to north. The landscapes are stunning and extremely diverse – ranging from snow-covered 7,000-meter peaks to rocky, desert-like regions, as well as green valleys, forests, and lakes.
The people were very welcoming, the food was always fresh and excellent. The accommodations in guest families were clean, comfortable, and offered an authentic insight into local life.
